What is Teens Teaching Teens?
Teens Teaching Teens is a student led group with the goal of transforming the landscape of scientific research by empowering the next generation through peer-to-peer mentoring. Our mission is building on teenagers teaching lab skills and concepts to teenagers interested in biology research to develop leading scientists of tomorrow by increasing biotechnology exposure for fellow teenagers.
STUDENT BOARD

CAROLYN ZHAO
Carolyn is a student at Saint Francis High School, where she is a junior. She is passionate about connecting, learning, and creating grassroots movements with the hope of contributing towards building a more equitable world. She is a novice to science who is fascinated about harnessing the capabilities of biotech to create a more equitable, livable future. In her down time, you can find her honing her amateurish baking prowess, reading, listening to podcasts, not hydrating enough, or exploring nature.

ADARSH AMBATI
A junior at Archbishop Mitty High School, Adarsh conducted independent research at the national and international level in biology and computer science. He is very passionate about environmental and climate change issues and strongly believes that legislation, grassroots activism, and education are all necessary for reversing climate change. He hopes to promote climate change awareness by providing STEM education for all through his nonprofit organization, Gro-STEMS. His passion is to conduct research, but he especially loves to teach biotechnology to other students.

JOCELYN SWIFT
Jocelyn Swift is a junior at Notre Dame High School and has volunteered with biohacking groups since middle school. She is a twice published researcher who enjoys microbiology and sharing her interests through teaching and the community science movement. Outside of school and the lab, Jocelyn is an avid runner and enjoys doting on her dogs.
